Udawalawe National Park 1 night 2 days Safari Camping

This is an ideal itinerary for Safari Holiday makers with limited time. Though you have one night you can see many Elephants as they roam freely in the park. Udawalawe National Park is a shelter for approximately 500 Elephants. Though park is popular for its Elephant population it is a home for many Water Buffalos, Deer, Crocodiles, Jackals. Udawalawe National Park is considered to be great place for Bird Watching.

The park covers an area of over 30,000 hectares and consists of a mixture of scrubland and teak forest and very rich in scenic landscapes.

Itinerary begins when you are picked up at Udawalawe National Park entrance by our team. The first journey to the campsite itself is a short Safari but the real Safari begins after your lunch at the camp site (Evening Safari). You will be back again at the campsite for an overnight stay after the evening Safari. The next day early morning Safari will provide you chances of spotting many herds of Elephants and other animals such as Crocodiles, Deer and Birds. So we suggest you to wake up early in order to have more time for the Safari and have your breakfast after the Safari prior to you check out at 11AM.

Meet with our crew at Udawalawe National Park Entrance at 12 noon and be driven to the campsite inside the Udawalawe national Park.

Udawalawe National Park 2 night 3 days Safari Camping

This is the most popular itinerary in Udawalawe when in Safari Camping. Two half days and one full day Safari tours provide many chances of seeing the Elephants, Deer, Crocodiles, wild buffalos, Jackal, mongoose and many varieties of Birds.

You will be back again at the campsite for an overnight stay after the evening Safari. This is meant for Hardcore Elephant lovers. As you have six game drives it will surely maximize the number of sightings of Elephants and other Elephants, Deer, Crocodiles, wild buffalos, Jackal, mongoose and many varieties of Birds.
